The wait is over. Pakistan's Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) has opened mandatory registration for Hajj 2027 — the earliest a Hajj cycle has ever begun. If your heart has been set on answering the call to the House of Allah, this is the moment to act. Registration is now compulsory for everyone, and for the first time under a formal policy, that includes overseas Pakistanis. Here is exactly what it means and what to do today.
What has been announced
- Registration for Hajj 2027 is now open and mandatory — no one can join any Hajj scheme without completing it first.
- It is done online through the official MoRA portal at hajj.mora.gov.pk.
- No payment is required at this stage — you are simply securing your place in the applicant pool.
- After registering, you choose between the Government scheme and a Private scheme once Hajj Policy 2027 is released.
- Overseas Pakistanis must register through the official portal, not through their country of residence.
- Your passport must be valid until at least 16 November 2027 (required at booking).

Why you should register early
Only registered pilgrims can submit a Hajj 2027 application once formal applications open. Places are limited, and the private scheme is first-come, first-served. Registering early secures your priority before the formal window, the cost instalments, and the ballot schedule are announced. Those who wait risk missing the priority window entirely — and missing the year they intended.
