If you hold both a Pakistani passport and a US, British or European one, you're in a fortunate position when it comes to Hajj — you have two completely separate routes to choose from. You can apply through Nusuk Hajj on your foreign passport, or you can travel with a private operator like KTN on your Pakistani passport. Both are legitimate. But they work very differently, and the difference can decide whether you actually perform Hajj in your chosen year. Here's an honest comparison to help you choose.
Your two routes, explained
- Route 1 — Nusuk Hajj (foreign passport): Nusuk Hajj (hajj.nusuk.sa) is Saudi Arabia's official platform for pilgrims residing in Muslim-minority countries — the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia and others. As a dual national living in one of these countries, you can apply through it on your foreign passport.
- Route 2 — Private operator (Pakistani passport): As a Pakistani national, you can also travel with a MoRA-licensed private operator like KTN, using your Pakistani passport, under Pakistan's private (sponsorship) Hajj scheme.
The biggest difference: confirmed spot vs lottery
For anyone who has booked leave from work, coordinated with family, or set their heart on a specific year, that certainty is everything. With Nusuk you may prepare for months and still be told you weren't selected. With KTN, the moment you confirm your package, you know you're going.
The second difference: cost
Our packages are typically considerably more affordable than the equivalent Nusuk packages for the same standard of accommodation and service. For a dual-national family — especially one sponsoring several members — that difference can be substantial. You get the same closeness to the Haram and the same quality of care, often at a noticeably lower price.
The third difference: guidance and service
Nusuk is an excellent platform, but it is largely self-service and digital. You select a package online and the services are delivered under Saudi supervision — but there's no dedicated person walking beside you. With KTN, you have named senior advisors available directly on WhatsApp, scholar-led pre-Hajj training, airport Meet & Assist, and an on-ground team throughout. For first-time pilgrims, elderly parents, or anyone who simply wants a human to call, that personal guidance makes the journey calmer.
